Hey everyone,
Wondering if you could help. I've been filming on my trip in Italy, and my process every evening has been this:
-copy files from camera SD cards over to two mirrored hard drives.
-once files have finished copying, I delete them off the SD cards.

I did this, checked the files, then deleted the SD cards. Once I did that, I noticed one of the two mirrored drives lights were off. I disconnected and then reconnected that drive. Suddenly, all of my video files from that day were gone. All of the other files from previous days are still there, just everything from that day (a lot of footage) was just gone. Is it still there but hidden? Can I somehow still recover it off the hard drives? I had to use the SD cards for further filming the next day. Help please... Thank you!

I would do some googling and try to find data recovery software that has a free trial. I would have told you to actually try to recover from the SD card but since you already wrote new data to it, that won't be happening.
