So heres the deal i have a HP w2007 Display which has DVI-d and VGA inputs my macbook pro was working amazing on it with vga, then i decided to get a dvi for my xbox 360 and went HDMI to dvi on it and it plays fine.

Now the issue arrises when i shut the xbox off and turn the monitor off. When i turn it back on without the xbox being on it says no VGA or DVI inputs detected. It works fine with my pc when the xbox 360 is on and even when i turn the 360 off before turning the monitor off. I dont know what to do its just annoying to have to turn my 360 on everytime i want to use my display.

Just to clarify

The MBP: uses a Mini display port to vga and works fine until i turn it on without the xbox on

The xbox 360 uses a HDMI to DVI d and works fine too

When iam on VGA mode it shows DVI and VGA as active inputs BUT when i switch to DVI it shows as DVI:ACTIVE and VGA:NO INPUT DETECTED

has anyone ever experienced anything like this?
