In-ear earphones w/ plug for iPhone 2g? Ultimate Ears MetroFi 200v? Others?

I'm looking for some in-ear headphones for my iPhone 2g whose plug won't require one of those stupid adapters to fit into the recessed 2g jack. The Ultimate Ears MetroFi 200v earphones seem like a great deal, but I'm not sure if their plug will fit. Does anyone know? Other recommendations for in-ear earphones for around $50, preferably with a microphone, but okay if not.
