In Imovie (using themes like the news one), is it possible to have a picture...

...in picture effect? Using the news theme as an example, can you have your movie and in the background there's a video, like IN the news reports? I know it's a bit unclear but thanks anyway.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I believe that it is not possible with iMovie to do that. It would likely have to be in Final Cut Pro/Express for such an advanced feature.

Which iMovie are you using? In iMovie9/11 just drop a video clip on top of another and you will get various options, one of which is Picture in Picture. You can get this regardless of which theme, if any, you are using.

Dave, I know it sounds stupid, but I don't have a mac yet. I saw the themes on the apple site and this particular feature I see myself using a lot.
