Well I'll admit I was skeptical. Sure I assumed that an uploaded photo from my computer in hi res would make a good postcard for shootit to send out - but to test the app - I didn't use something that started out that good. I had taken a picture with my iPhone while on my Alaskan cruise. It's a pretty good picture and looks great on the iPhone (and even when downloaded) but good enough for a 4x6 color postcard? Skeptical.

Having downloaded the app it entitled you to a free postcard. So I selected the Alaska pic - wrote some text and sent it off to my own address so I could check out the quality.

It arrived today (I uploaded on Monday and they say that they print within 24 hours and mail out after that 1st class from various locations).

I have to say - the quality far exceeded my expectations - the postcard looks GREAT. While I don't think this is an app I will use every day or even week - for 99 cents per post card (which includes printing and postage in the US) - it's a great little piece of technology to have on the iPhone.
