in Safari or Firefox back button activates without me pressing it

My specs:

iMac 27" i7
OSX 10.6.4
Magic Mouse

I swear I am not crazy but at random times when surfing I will be taken back to the previous page even though my hand wasn't even on the mouse.

I figured it might be an OS issue which is why I posted it here.

Any help is appreciated!

Hmm, thats weird. Do you ever press delete?

Nope, this seems to start happening recently, possibly after last OS or safari update but not sure.
