Had a Belkin 17 Pro Max screen protector applied in store Friday, got home and it almost immediately began lifting from the bottom creating air bubbles, popped back to the Apple Store and was informed there’s a ton coming back with similar issues - Has anyone else experienced any defects? Or could this just be a bad batch

I hope you were given a refund. Your OP is the first I have seen of this.
Was told could be refunded now or wait and come back in a week or so when hopefully the next batch won’t hopefully have these issues, so opted to keep it applied for now and get it swapped out when hopefully new stock comes in - ridiculous though and a pain in the ass to say the least

Definitely sounds like a defect. I have seen this happen before with Belkin (with some previous models) and some other manufactures. Hopefully, it will get resolved very quickly.

Good luck! I’m sure it was a one-off installation error (humans aren’t perfect) or possibly one random manufacturing issue. They should just re-do it with a new one.

Mine had this issue. It started lifting up on the bottom left corner and the associates were talking about the machine being wonky. When I took it back, they just reinstalled it.

I got mine on Saturday and I’ve had no issues, but my phone did go straight back into a case once it was applied, so the edge of the protector is completely protected by the lip of the case. I was 100% satisfied with the one I had put on my 16PM last year too.
