Had a Belkin 17 Pro Max screen protector applied in store Friday, got home and it almost immediately began lifting from the bottom creating air bubbles, popped back to the Apple Store and was informed there’s a ton coming back with similar issues - Has anyone else experienced any defects? Or could this just be a bad batch

I hope you were given a refund. Your OP is the first I have seen of this.
Was told could be refunded now or wait and come back in a week or so when hopefully the next batch won’t hopefully have these issues, so opted to keep it applied for now and get it swapped out when hopefully new stock comes in - ridiculous though and a pain in the ass to say the least

Definitely sounds like a defect. I have seen this happen before with Belkin (with some previous models) and some other manufactures. Hopefully, it will get resolved very quickly.

Good luck! I’m sure it was a one-off installation error (humans aren’t perfect) or possibly one random manufacturing issue. They should just re-do it with a new one.

Mine had this issue. It started lifting up on the bottom left corner and the associates were talking about the machine being wonky. When I took it back, they just reinstalled it.

I got mine on Saturday and I’ve had no issues, but my phone did go straight back into a case once it was applied, so the edge of the protector is completely protected by the lip of the case. I was 100% satisfied with the one I had put on my 16PM last year too.

my dbrand prism 2.0 has issues on the 17 pro. long thin bubbles along edge of the screen. cant be pressed out no matter what. appears as if the display curves more, not allowing the protector to adhere properly

The Apple applicator is no longer fool proof. The self applicator is better and more dependable and now also comes with dust removal.

The 3 pack ESR screen protector I picked up from Amazon has been holding up nicely, even after putting a the phone in and out of cases.

Interesting. I had it put on 3 phones (1 pro max and 2-pros) and the Apple store employee pointed out that problem on one of them, and did an exchange saying it was defective. I wonder if he knew to look for that. I honestly wouldn’t have noticed until much later. It was the bottom not bonding as you described.

My top right corner has been lifting. If it gets worse, I’ll go back to the store. Kind of irritating as it cost quite a bit, and I paid for the “expert” application. I usually mess it up. 🤷‍♂️

It says online purchased apple store belkin screen protectors cannot be installed in store? I would like to use the military discount. I dont think the discount works in store?

Yes, it does, just have a military ID with you.

Thank you. Actually it is just $4 off. Does belkin/apple have warranty like lifetime just like Zagg if it gets messed up, misaligned, etc?
You'll need to Google that or wait for someone else to reply, honestly, you'll find your answer faster Googling it.
