In-Store Appointment, do you get to special stock?

It kinda doesn't make sense for everyone to order at midnight and take all the stock now while those who made the appointment in store will get absolutely nothing left.

anyone think if you go to store tomorrow, they might be able to squeeze you an watch on Launch? (as oppose to in June?)

I see your concern. but... it kinda doesn't make sense for someone to order just after midnight and be delayed a month and then see someone go into the store and get it at launch...

I'm really curious about this too. I wanted the Sports with blue band but it's not shipping till JUNE. They had stated that you could reserve for store pick-up so hopefully that's for people who decide to purchase during the in-store appointment.

i do NOT envy Apple employees tomorrow, when they have to tell everyone first in line that they won't be getting them until June (if not later).

Had a fitting appt today (Perth, Australia) and asked the Apple store employee this question - his answer was No, online orders only.

There will be plenty in store to buy.... they aren't stupid and probably have way more available for in store purchase than they did for pre-order.

Watch was not ready for pre-orders at the time, but there will be kiosks in-store that place a regular online pre-order.
