Anyone having any luck trying to see if they can order one for pick up on the app? I keep checking every now and then but so far nothing.

Check istocknow.com and set an alert for what you want. It works really well.

I just canceled my store pick up because I bought elsewhere so that’s one available. 🤣
Edit: looks like they haven’t added the 12 SKUs yet but I bet they will be soon.

Typically on launch day this feature is disabled. You can check back tomorrow at 6 am and that feature will be available. You can either try to do a walk in but they will likely make an appointment for you.

Nothing in-stock anywhere near me for the unlocked variants.
I switched to the AT&T one and it's in-stock for me with pickup available today or tomorrow from all local stores.
If I get the AT&T one, is there any difference? Just lesser resale value?
Thank!

Interesting, in my area pretty much every Pro 12 configuration was available for pickup today this morning.

I woke up at 730am PST and checked the Apple store on my phone and was able to order a 12 Pro in Graphite for pickup this Sunday at Valley Fair. I also saw Cupertino and a Palo Alto were available for pickup tomorrow but Sunday works best for me.

All 3 of my local apple stores had pickup available today for the unlocked variant and the Verizon variant in 256 graphite and silver. I ended up being lazy and going half a mile away to Verizon and just getting a 256 graphite there. They were out of silver but had blue and gold still.

Had an appt for 8am, got there at 7:55, maybe 8 other folks there. Got my device and was back on the road by 8:02am.

I was able to order a Pacific Blue 12 Pro 128gb this morning for pickup tomorrow. I was able to order my Apple Watch 6 the same way, inventory gets loaded the morning of the rollout.
