Other In store pick up process?

Long time lurker, first time poster!

What has been everyone’s experience with picking up in store. I have an appointment tomorrow to pick up. However I also need to make a return and I need to pick up a MagSafe charger with a different pick up time (almost two hours later). Anyone think this will be possible to done all at once. Chat says they most likely won’t accept my return at the store. My store is Genius Bar and pick up appointments only. Thanks to COVID. The store is a bit of a distance away and I’d rather not have to make multiple trips. Nor hunt down a fedex location. I live in a rural area and these things aren’t close by. Thanks for your input!

I've done a pickup with a window many times all while making a return. Actually, many, many times. You shouldn't have a problem at all.

If you have a staggered appointment time, they should be fine. I've once set a lunch time pick up and once after work, when I went there at my lunch break, I was able to pick up an item that I set for after work during my lunch break.

With the express pick up only stores, you can actually do returns. What they will not be doing is exchanges.
