iPhone 11 Pro In Store Pick up Question

So I am planning on pre-ordering an iPhone 11.
However, I will be out of town when the phone ships so don't want it sitting at my house the whole weekend.

If I chose In-Store Pick up, how long will they hold my order? I've heard conflicting reports between 24 hours to 21 days and was curious if anyone had experience with this.

I think a week is how long they hold it

They hold it for 14 days from the day it's ready for pick up. Technically when you pre-order, and you paid for it, it's technically yours and they will not give that one out to anyone. From what I know is that when they receive them in stock, they go through the online order and check to see if anyone did the pre-order and they will set those aside so when you come then the runner will grab that for you.

You could do for home delivery and then request a hold for pick up but then they only hold it for 5 days oppose to 14 days.
