Hey everyone, first time mac buyer!

Just a quick question,

I'm getting the 15" i7 Macbook Pro and was wondering...is the total price going to be the same In-store as it is online?

I much prefer buying it at my nearest apple store than having it shipped. Any info is great guys! Thanks!

Yep, same prices BUT only ordering online offers the high res glossy as well as a 7200rpm HDD instead of 5400rpm. SSD is also only offered online if thats your thing.

But for base models yeah just go pick up in store.

Same price, same taxes; difference is in-store you have to get there and online may incur shipping charges should you want it expedited.

Also in-store they only have the default configurations you see on Apple.com (with the exception of the 15" high-resolution antiglare); to get a 7200RPM drive, you would need to install it yourself should you wish to purchase the computer at the Apple retail store.
