What do you guys estimate in terms of time frame before i can just walk into my local Apple store in Hong Kong (Central) and just buy a 44mm Spacegrey Alloy LTE from the shelves?
i checked and they are currently out of stock it seems on apple watches everywhere in HK.
If i order them it delivers end of October/first week November (4 weeks lead time)
Based on previous AW generations how long does it normally take apple before they finally are able to stock them in their stores? 2 months? 3? As i am not in a rush to get it on the first day, i much rather enjoy spending time on the forums reading up on user experiences etc.
But that being said, not really willing to pay money 4 weeks in advance (online order) to get it beginning of November. Just not feel right.
In that case i rather keep the money in my pocket and just walk into a apple store and buy it in one go when i can have it directly on my wrist. Ideally i want to be able to pick one from the store within these 2 weeks (AW4 released already a month now?)
I am not much of a gambler and take changes to go to the store to find out they have stock or not, i called a week ago and they did not have, i don`t want to make this a rat race for a single stocked 44mm space grey LTE AW either, yes i want one, but i am not that desperate to check availability daily and then rush off like a madman just to secure one, it in the end still a toy that is outdone next year.
If its going to take another 1 to 2 months for apple to get their stocks sorted, i might actually lose interest in this generation AW. And then i just do the pre-order of the AW5 next year so i do have it on time. As i feel like this is a device you want to replace yearly for the next few years till the tech is on a level i want it to be. and buying the AW4 in a month or 2, gives it a life span of less then 10 months on my wrist. (lessen learned from my end, i though pre-ordering was for inpatient people
