In the box...iPhone 3GS

So I was on Apple's page comparing the difference between the 3G and 3GS. (already ordered 3GS just getting impatient!) I noticed that the headphones are different. The iphone 3G is shipped with Stereo headset with mic. The 3GS is shipped with Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic

Is there a significant difference? I hope so!

So I looked it up (shoulda done before posting) and the new 3GS comes with the mic that has the volume buttons on it! I didn't know that! Friday is forever away!

When its i my pocket it'll be nice not have to find the buttons through my pants(looks funny too), or even take it out to raise/lower the volume. These headphones are far better than the original in my opinion.

Oh yeah!

I mean, I never really use the mic, and if I get a call when listening to iPod, I take my headphones out, but the volume buttons would really help!

they are a little bigger but I can deal with that. Although I find my current 3G headphones getting caught on my collar a lot. I may hate the newer bigger ones... DAMN way to ruin my excitement

The one thing I really wish was included in the Packaging was the Dock, just like w/ the 1st Gen iPhone!
But I'm gonna buy it anyway... but it's an extra $30.... anyways....

I seriously forgot about the dock! I don't know how because it was the best. It looked so nice next to my iMac or just sitting on my night stand. I don't wanna shell out the $30 for it. But now that it's on my mind I just may not be able to live without it.

doesn't matter because most people trade all the headphones in for real headphone that don't suck.

Apple should save the 0.50 and no include headphones
