Hello,

I am looking to replace my 5 year old iMac in the next month or two. I want to stick with Apple because I love OSX. I have been shopping around in the PC world and am finding really great deals, making it harder for me to justify spending the extra money on a mac.

I keep seeing machines like the HP Elitebook, which I love. I hate all of the consumer-grade pc laptops because the look so cheap and clunky. But the closest thing I see to macbook pros are "business-class" laptops.

How do I buy these if I am not buying them through a company?

Probably just go to the business side of their website and order through that. They won't care that you're not a company per se, they just want your money.

my friend's work bought him a hp elitebook. it's a sweet machine. build quality is awesome and the touchpad is nice as well. The matte screen is fantastic, I think it's the best screen I've ever seen. wish it was thin like a mac though :/

I bought a Dell v13 (poor man's air) off of Dell's refurb site. It was $450, they asked for my name, credit card, and shipping address. No company name required.
