On this Apple commercial, there appears to be an iPhone 13 on a very cool color. However, that color resembles the oceanic blue from the 12 Pro lineup, not the iPhone 13.

So, what color do you think it is? Because midnight is almost black. And the blue is lighter and more blue…

I like that color, and now I want to buy the 13 mini on that shade of blue…

iPhone 13 Blue

Not sure if it's the Sierra Blue in the 13 Pro line that is confusing you.

Maybe, but I really thought the blue 13 was a bit lighter and without that greenish hue that has on that commercial. I think it’s fault of the color filters on the video post-production…

Anyway, next time I go to an Apple Store, I will take another look at the blue. Was one of the first colors I discarded (in favor of Starlight, Midnight and Product Red) but maybe I need to actually see that blue under the sunlight.

The 12 Pro oceanic blue did have a greenish hue, thus my confusion.

Could be, I notice maybe only a slight variation, but it's definitely a 13 Blue.

Keep in mind, the woman in the video is in like that ocean blue/light teal variation looking lounge chair. The lighting from the chair outside could be reflecting off the chair a bit to make it appear a little different cause of the glass back.
I think more than anything the chair, is giving off an optical illusion.

Take for example, I noticed this on an earlier iPhone I had--- the XS/XS Max in gold finish--in different lighting conditions and environments, it could appear more rose gold, band aid, copper, etc. Drove me nuts to the point I exchanged it for a silver model lol.
