26-27...and it's not even close. 23-24 are both junk with bezel and screen discoloration issues.
I've had 2 24 and 1 26 exchanged for those issues. Was told to hold on for 33 if there was same issue again.

How can you tell the build week?

NOTE: My phone seems to be flawless, but I am just curious. 16GB Black iPhone here.

I've got a 27 :D YAY!
Anyways, I had a 21 and it got replaced.
^You can check by looking at your serial number. You'll see 889_ _ Those 2 blanks are your week #. Mine is 88927 etc.

Who cares what build week you have, as long as your phone is functioning

Mine is build 26 and it doesn't crack and it's prefect....Knock on wood....had my phone replace 4 times...for cracks....many of my build where 24, 25,25,24, and than 26 which is prefect so far....

Lol hahaha

Mine is week 2 and i have a nice 3G lol.

I dont get how the build week could have anything to do with the way it was made. Its the people who put them together that matters. Unless they change the workers every week i dont see how it would matter.

You bring up an excellent point!

Just got a 27 as a replacement and it has a really bad yellow display. The build quality is great and has a nice bezel.

Do you know if it's same for iPod Touch? Mine's serial number goes like 9C925******. Does this mean that the build week is 25?

Dagreat makes a good point....never thought of it that way before.

You really have no idea what you are talking about and are pretty much making this information up. Nice job.

We are talking about a totalitarian society. I wouldn't be surprised if the China factory dose that. Perhaps, the workers are divided by teams and some teams are less meticulous than others.
