This MacBook Pro sleeve from Inateck is a zippered sleeve with additional padding and a hard wearing design making it a real step up over a standard sleeve.
It's constructed from a thick, padded hard wearing canvas fabric with a soft inner lining to protect the MacBook. Craftsmanship is high with an excellent feel to the sleeve and immaculate finishing throughout. The sleeve is secured by two zips that make access easy. It should also prove good at repelling small splashes and spills.

The sleeve also features a front pocket which can be handy for holding something relatively flat like a paper notebook or small items such as USB pen drives and is a handy place to keep the supplied screen cleaning cloth. This is also secured by a zip.

The retina MacBook Pro 15 fits in a reassuringly snug way although I imagine a MacBook with a protective shell in place would also just fit. The interior also has a padded spine that protects the edges of the MacBook as well as stopping the zip from making contact.

While the padding and hard wearing material means this is great to avoid scratches and minor bumps, the weight of the MacBook inside means you would want to be wary of bigger drops. I think this lends this sleeve ideal for use at home or as secondary protection when stored inside a bigger bag or case.
