Recently, I reviewed the Inateck Envelope Case for the Macbook Air and was so impressed with it I decided to see if there other products were any good as well.

They kindly sent me two products, the 4Port USB 3.0 + OTG Hub (HB4004G) and their small Portable Bluetooth Speaker (BP1001) which I reviewed for the past 4 days

This is a review for the Bluetooth Speaker

Build quality: The speaker looks great with no obvious tacky branding and very sleek looking sides and front. The bottom has rubber feet which is a nice touch for keeping the speaker stable. The top is sleek and attracts fingerprints but overall it is not that big of an issue.

Ease of use: This speaker is a joy to use and that is no exaggeration. I have tried many different Bluetooth speakers, many being very high priced, and this one stacks up in almost every single way. There are little attention to details like when you turn the unit on it makes a sound letting you know it is on and makes a sound letting you know it has paired. No need for awkward codes to input when pairing the device and it was a 5 second process from the time I turned it on to pairing it with my iPhone 5 and my Macbook Air. The sound quality is great, there are no latency issues when the speaker is moved far away from the source thus making it pretty nice for taking to a picnic or leaving in the kitchen when listening to music. The other feature that is very useful is the built in speaker phone. That means this speaker can be used to make conference calls and so if you are listening on your phone you can take a call. The other person said they had trouble hearing me unless I was sitting a bit closer to the unit but overall they said the quality was sub par to good and I could hear them perfectly on my end in my four test calls. It comes with a micro-usb charger and an aux cable to connect to devices that do not have Bluetooth built in.

Overall, like with all Inateck products, they seem to have the market cornered on building high quality products at a low low price. Looking at this speaker you could guess I paid between $50-100 for it as did many of my friends and family members but they were all shocked to know that this speaker can be purchased for $17 on Amazon which is pretty ridiculous when you think about it. That is less than the cost of a nice dinner and much cheaper than all the name brand Bluetooth speakers currently being sold for $50+. You can buy 4 of these speakers for the price of ONE name-brand speaker and that says it all.

Another top quality product gets 4.5/5 stars from me.

Video reviews are available thru Amazon review page which can be found thru the official link just select which country you are from and it will link you to the corresponding Amazon page
