So I am highly interested in purchasing an InCase brand neoprene sleeve for my Dell laptop. (Yes I know, not a Apple product but I am in the market for a new Macbook Pro as soon as this poor graduate student can save some cash). Incase designs specifically for the Aple lineup. Looks like my laptop falls just in between their two designs as far as dimensions go for their line of neoprene laptop sleeves.

So which would you recommend, the 13" or 15" sleeve?

Dell Inspiron 1420 (My Machine)

Weight: Starting at 5.39 lbs (2.45kg)9
Width: 13.13" (33.3cm)
Height: 1.26" (3.2cm) front - 1.53" (3.9cm) back
Depth: 9.61" (24.4cm)

Option #1 Incase 13" Neoprene Sleeve

Option #2 Incase 15" Neoprene Sleeve

Interior: 14.1 x 9.6 x 1 inches
Designed for Macbook Pro (same dimensions)

TIA and my apologies for a sad attempt of making this macbook pro related.

I suggest you take your laptop into a Apple store or Best Buy and try one out. That is the only way you will know for sure it will fit.

Your advice was well taken. Took it into Best Buy and tried on both the 13" and 15"

13" was a snug fit (which is what you want right?) and it was not highly difficult to insert the laptop as expected

15" was just too floppy, kind of defeats the purpose of having a sleeve.

So I think I will order the 13" online. Only worry is, once a purchase a macbook pro after the new redesign, my sleeve will be useless. Eh, that will be ages from now anyways.

Thanks again.
