Hey guys,

Just got my InCase Convertible Bookcase, and noticed there was a design revision, there is now a Velcro strip to hold the iPad in place.

Most of the reviews say that it always slides out and doesn't stand up right, but I the design revision has made the grooves deeper, and added the Velcro strip.

I have to say with these additions, this is by far the best case out there.

Thanks for reading,
Caolán.

Just go to the InCase site. www.goincase.com

I saw that one at the Apple store and it does seem more stable. My concern with that case is that it's very thick. Also, the demo version they had at the Apple store was just thrashed with nicks in the leather and very worn out at the corners. Didn't appear to hold up well.

Yeah it is a lot more stable,

And as sandydlc said, just go to the incase website, as my Internet is currently down so I'm using 3G on the iPad, so i can't upload pics.

There are noticeable differences in appearance, just the Velcro.

Do a YouTube search for new version of incase convertible bookcase and it'll come up.

As for the bulk, i really don't mind it, its better than the flimsiness of the apple case, and i know this thing is gonna protect my iPad very very well.

I'm really loving the 4 different positions you can achieve with this case.

Definetely 5 stars from me.

Left a voicemail with incase customer service asking about those of us that bought the early (faulty in my opinion) version of this case. I'd at least like a deal on a newer version if not a free replacement. They obviously know they had a design flaw that was easily fixed.

great CSR from Incase!
I picked up a contertible jacket when I bought my iPhone in May. When I found out about the revision in this thread, I e-mailed CSR and uploaded my receipt on their site. Yesterday, I received the revision free in the mail and they say I can keep the original. Can't beat that!

I'm using the Apple iPad case.... my G/F has the Incase, and it definitely at least doubles the thickness. ( great build quality and protection though, if you don't mind the added thickness... )
