INCASE HARDSHELL DOTS FOR MACBOOK AIR M1 13"

I'm thinking about buying this just to be a little bit safer with a six years old around, the only thing is that I read that if you don't clean it often taking the covers off it would eventually scratch the laptop with the dirt that sneaked in but I also read that if you take the cover off often you may broke the little plastic things needed to hold on the Mac.
Any experience to share?

I put mine on right after I got my MBA about a month ago, and I do not take it off. I do not see how dirt would get under the cover.
