Scuba, you've gone overboard with that concern. Free your mind; it won't scratch your laptop. Compare it to the InCase that has a toothy zipper all around the opening's perimeter. :eek:

You do have a point. I am being crazy about it. Just trying to keep in in perfect condition. :) After all its easier to sell to someone in a year or two if its still mint. ;-)
 
I have the Incase sleeve with the zipper for my 13" MBP and it doesn't scratch the machine, so I don't think yours will scratch your machine.
 
I have that exact case and the inside of it is so soft that I don't think it would even come close to scratching it. The inside is like thick wool.

Haven't had a problem with it at all, and I highly recommend it.
 
got 2 of these. It should perfectly fit your computer and not conflict with it's zipper. And it doubles as a nice platform for your MBA to sit on if you put it on your lap or maybe a dirty table ;P
