Ive been reading reviews that the incase slider scratches iphones. anyone had experience with this? i just picked one up till i get my permanent case but im thinking about returning it now

Yes

I can confirm from my experience that the Incase Slider can scratch the back and sides of the iPhone 4. Very small particles can enter the openings of the case like the charging slot, headphone slot and openings of the volume control. When the iPhone gets moved from the case, the small particles will scratch the phone. I don't think it's the manufacturers fault. It's just unavoidable.
