Hey everyone,

I just posted a video review of the Frosted Incase Snap case for my white iPhone 4s, you can check it out below. I was searching for a case that was not too bulky and this one fits the bill! Hopefully this will help anyone that's on the fence about this case, I love it!

Again, hope it helps others who are trying to find an acceptable case! :apple:

thanks!

I grabbed one from the apple store a few weeks back and it wouldn't quite snap on my white 4S either. Did yours ride the sides of the volume buttons or did they have a good amount of clearance?

rkeato1,

Mine is centered and has clearance on both sides - I'll take a picture and post it up here for you.

-Best,

Jag

rekato1,

Here's a picture of my mute/volume buttons, everything is centered near perfectly.

Is the surface matte, non-slip or glossy and slippery?

its matte soft touch material... when i say soft, i mean soft! dont get me wrong, the product is very sturdy and feels durable...but it kind of feels like you are touching silk!! very nice material... as far as being grippy... its not the grippiest material on the planet... but it doesnt really make the phone more slippery than going naked... i love it.. only complaint is the price!! $35 feels like ALOT for a tiny piece of plastic and barely any extras... but the case is excellent.. fits better than anything i have ever put on my iphone 4 and 4s (i have had at last 15 cases)... looks great... and i dont regrest my purchase

Update.

Just wanted to give an update: I've had this for over a month now and the case has not yellowed at all! It is still perfectly frosted, Love it and wouldn't sport anything else on my 4S! :apple:

I've bought it during the launch of 4S back in november and the case has turned yellow, not just that, the side has start to crack as well :(

Maybe yellow is too strong of a word. But it's definitely not as white as it was in the box when you first get it..

I'm not a big on cases, but I broke down and just got this case. Unfortunately after a few weeks it's already starting to look dingy. Shame cause I really like the size of it. Might go back and buy the smoke version of it.

I would like to see one that is high gloss and not frosty. I like that slippery feel for some stupid reason. lol :)

Perhaps an odd question, but has anyone who has this case taken photos with it with the flash (4S iphone)? The reason I ask is I bought a case online that I loved the sleek look of (SGPCASE Linear). And it's certainly great looking. But it has two significant problems:
(1) It's dangerously slippery! To rectify, I had to place 4 small dots of clear silicone caulking on the back to keep it from sliding on a flat surface and to assure it didn't slip out of my hands easily.
(2) With the back plate on the phone, if you take a photo using the flash, it's totally washed out looking and slightly out of focus. The only "workaround" is to take the darned case off entirely if I want to use the flash.

An expensive lesson learned.

Does anyone know where I can buy this case in the UK?
I've been looking for a while now.
I have tried Apple Store and go incase store. Apple don't have this colour, only clear and black. And go incase makes it $50 cos of delivery to UK.
Tried eBay but the listing ended and checked Amazon as well.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks a lot.

(1) From what I know the frost version of this case has a matte feeling to it so it shouldn't be too slipery...I could be wrong.

(2) They put a black ring around the camera/flash cutout to try to prevent washout from using the flash.

I have a back screen protector and it fits just fine. I don't know why it wouldn't fit a phone with a front screen protector as well.

I can confirm they do bubble up the back screen protector.

I have both front and back screen protector installed.

It's a good case but for this issue. I just wasted a really nice SGP Ultra Clear back protector since the case ruined it permanently!
