For chrissake...really? They paid $499 to get marketing for themselves that is worth WAY more than that.
You should get upset at all of the new infomercials, and mac and cheese commercials, and new car commercials, too. You know, the audacity they show by advertising their products when there's a disaster going on.
I bet you also got upset and boycotted seeing any new movies during the Haiti disaster. And the Australia flooding.
That guy's a very wealthy man as a result of his blenders. They're sort of the Apple of blenderdom; very high-end stuff.
i would have squaretraded that right before the destruction. than i would give them a bag of app smoke.
Steve Jobs doesn't care because Apple already got the money. And trying to equate blending iPads with earthquake and tsunami is stupid.

There needs to be a term for the occasions when people introduce tsunamis and natural disasters into arguments unnecessarily (like Godwin's law).
People who spend so much money on tv ads and entertainment are doing the same thing the German people did during the Nazi regime--they are enabling social deterioration.
