incipio atlas feed back! an actual digital sound

I've and an Atlas for about a month now. I think it's a great case and the waterproof capabilities have been tested numerous times. The issue I have is a digital whine that happens almost whenever I make calls. Some sort of feedback. I get rid of it by activating and deactivating speaker phone, but sometimes that doesn't work. People on the other end of the call can hear the sound too, but to them it sounds like it's just some background sound. Has anyone come across this? Fixes? Or shall I call Incipio and berate them or demand a replacement?

I was able to somewhat make it less by turning on the hearing aid mode in settings. Settings/Accessibility/Hearing Aids. I couldn't live with the reduced volume levels, I I eventually returned the Atlas for the Lifeproof Nuud.
