Hey Guys, I am looking for a new case for my iPhone 5 and I'm looking for a very slim profile. I've narrow it down to these Three. Which do you think is better? Does one offer something the other one doesn't? Which one do you guys recommend? Does anyone have any experience with either? Thanks!

The Ultra Thin Air for the iPhone 5 doesn't list a thickness, but the iPhone 4 version is 0.70mm thick, so the iPhone 5 version is probably a similar thickness. The Frequency looks to be quite a bit thicker at 1.82mm and the feather is 1.23mm thick.

If you're looking for the thinnest case for your iPhone, I'd probably go with the Spigen. The Incipio cases would have a different feel than the Spigen, which isn't coated with the same soft touch stuff. You won't such a solid grip.

Neither the feather nor the Spigen extend beyond the iPhone's screen, which means they will probably offer decent scratch protection but less than ideal drop protection.

Of the three cases you linked, the thicker Frequency is the case that will provide the highest level of protection, so it really comes down to what you're looking for in a case - a slimmer design or better protection.

Personally, I like the feel of the Incipio cases, but the design of the Spigen is sleeker. I've used several Incipio cases and Spigen screen protectors; both companies put out a pretty good product.

Thanks for all your insight. I really like the coating on the Incipio cases, seems to have more grip and a matte finish. Do you know if either case has the "lay on table" feature? Where the sides extend so the phone isnt resting on the screen when turned upside down and placed on a surface.

Also what screen protector do you use?

I have the spigen and love it. Everyone that sees the case on the phone comment on how they love the look of it.

I prefer the feather. I also have the crystal clear ultra thin air and it feels very cheap. I got it from ebay for about $10 less than spigen sells it for and I still felt ripped off. Spigen makes good cases and maybe the different colors of the ultra thin air feel different but I wasn't happy with the crystal clear.

I have tried a lot of thin cases and finally settled with the spigen thin air, I have the black one and it is great! The colour really suits the phone as well - the only downside to it is there isn't much grip compared to some cases, but its certainly not going to slip out of your hand in general, its not that slippery. Trust me go with spigen

I have the Incipio feather for my iPhone 5 and even my iPad. I also have the Spigen Slim Armor case. I like both brands a lot. Both are great in my opinion.

Right now I'm using a Wrapsol, but I've switched numerous times. I really like Spigen's screen protectors too. I stay far away from Zagg though, that's the one mainstream brand that I don't really care for.

It looks like both the feather the Frequency have sides that extend far enough to protect it when it's face down, but I'm not sure on the Spigen case.

I have the Spigen. Nice case, but a bit overpriced for what it is. Since you're looking for a really slim profile, you're better off going with something like the Caudabe Veil (http://www.caudabe.com/products/the-veil-frost). That's what I use now and it's awesome. Granted, it doesn't offer much protection, but that's what I want. I don't feel like I need to baby the phone in my pocket, but it's still

Both are decent quality but neither offers much protection. They leave the top and bottom bezel exposed which gets marked up. The spigen is thinner.

Go for a Magpul... Or GetUncommon... Both are better quality. The Magpul offers decent protection.

The Incipio ( 2nd one ) you posted offers no protection ....well almost none, but sure looks good.

If you're leaning towards the Incipio, check out the ' Ringke SLIM ' on Amazon for $9.99. It's basically the same as the Incipio, and I use a black one and you could not even tell it's there.

Currently, I'm using this : http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0098FKL34/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Love it !!!
