Included Cable (iPhone 6)

Does anybody else notice that the lightning cable that shipped with the iPhone 6 doesn't feel like the normal standard cables? They feel almost bootleg lol. Am I losing it? I have my original iPhone 5 cable and it's been through hell and back, but it still has some of that original Apple 'feel' to it.

Anyone have thoughts on this?

They definitely have changed or evolved over the years but it is an Apple cable.

Oh I know it's an official cable (that'd be weird if they shipped bootleg cables) .. but the feel of the cable since the iPhone 5 feels pretty cheap. Almost crinkly.

Agreed, the older ones feel like better quality.
