I'm taking a Java class at school, and I need to know if the iBook comes with the Developer Tools CD. Also, is there any other software that comes with it that Apple doesn't mention?

i bought a G3 800 (12"), 384mb ram, airport card and got the following cds:

world book encyclopaedia
apple hardware test cd
OS X install cd1 + 2
Software Restore CD 1, 2 + 3

I think it mentioned apple developer tools when installed OSX when i got it, but i can't be sure.

My 14" 800 MHz iBook came with the developer tools. If yours doesn't, you can download it from connect.apple.com

Yeah but you can get the Developer Tools with a free ADC membership, you don't need to pay to get them.

you can always get a student adc membership..100$ and around 300 off a powerbook...

gotta be a student tho..
