I switched over to the iPhone in Feb 2011. I have recently got my iPhone replaced (received a refurb). Now, when I leave my WiFi on, every call I receive rings and I try to answer and nothing happens, it drops the call. Everyone has to call me twice to get the phone call through. I believe it has something to do with the WiFi radio waking up and the phone trying to receive a phone call. Anyone else experience this?

Sounds very strange. If you're not jail broken, I'd suggest a reset & restore and see if that helps. Otherwise, it may be a hardware fault.
