incoming call - rings on watch for a few seconds after ive answered on phone

I know its not the biggest problem in the world, but if I get a call coming in, it rings on both my phone and watch...I can answer on my watch but I'm not into star trek, so I pick up my iPhone 6 and answer it, and it keeps ringing for at least another 2 or 3 rings after, so I'm saying hello and my watch is still going crazy.

is it just mine or is this 'normal'

I mean talking into my watch like I should be saying 'beam me up scottie'

I have had that happen a couple of times.

may be an OS4 item, I've had this happen a couple times on my AW2.

I think its normal. I dont have an apple watch, but Ive had this before with calls ringing on my iPads, and when I answer on my phone there is a delay to the iPads and they ring for about 2 seconds after I answer.
