Incoming calls problem, unable to receive calls on 3GS, 4.1

I jailbroke and unlocked my iPhone running on 4.1 FW and 16.05.00 BB today using redsn0w + ultrasn0w.

However, after the unlock I am not able to receive calls when 2G data transfer (Edge) is active. This used to work before the unlock! When I deactivate Cellular Data the incoming calls come in w/o problems.

Any clue about possible reasons? Sth in the settings which I overlooked? Related to the provider?

Reset the Cellular Data Settings, entered the exact same details, now it works, is this strange or is it strange?
