every incoming call i receive on my new iPhone 4 comes in full blast, i have to then call the person back and then the volume works normally.

i always use earbuds from apple with volume control but doesn't work when these calls come in. i don't have this issue when using the ipod feature or again when calling out.

has anyone else had this problem?

thanks!

i have had my iphone 4 since the second day it came out. I have never experienced this. you should try to restore it. if it continues, then talk to apple care

My ears are bleeding.

Yes. If I'm listening to music (iPod app) with Apple's ear buds and a call comes in..the volume is full.

Ear bleeding loud.

Cannot turn the volume down. Tried the volume control on ear buds, side of phone and touch screen. None work.

I have an earache due to this flaw.

iPod function is not worth this.
