Incoming email slow

Using the default email app I've found that emails come in slow. Meaning, someone sends me mail and I don't get it til say, 10 or 15 minutes later.

I seem to recall something similar happening when Mavericks came out and they patched it after an update or two.

Anyone experiencing this?

Yes! I've noticed this on all of my upgraded macs. It's annoying. In addition, we're having lots of IMAP issues where deleted or archived emails reappear in the boxed the were deleted from. Not sure why there isn't more outrage over this since email is so central to every day use.
