Anyone else having trouble launching Left 4 Dead 2 or other games after the OS X 10.7.2 update?

After verifying the game cache, Left 4 Dead 2 works now.

On to my next question. How do I close this thread?

Not sure if it's a 10.7.2 problem, but I got Assassin's Creed Brotherhood today and it does not launch, always crashes. Anyone else having problems with it?
 
Sol go to your first post and click edit>go advanced>and beside the thread title there is an option menu where you can mark it as resolved. then save it and the mods will close it./take care of it.

Not sure if it's a 10.7.2 problem, but I got Assassin's Creed Brotherhood today and it does not launch, always crashes. Anyone else having problems with it?

Hey have you verified the cache of the game. Seems to be the fix with mine.

Just resolved the problem. Updated to the newest Ubisoft Launcher and now it works. Might help others with the same problem :)

How do you quite update the ubisoft launcher?
I'm sort of in the same boat as you were...
 
Fixe Assassin's creed brotherhood crash 10.7.2

For all Mac os x Lion users and specially the one who update to 10.7.2 here's the solution to run Assassin's creed brotherhood.
Go to Applications/Ubisoft/Assassin's creed brotherhood folder.
Inside the folder u can see the application right click on it and choose "show contents". go to Contents / MacOS and DoubleClick "acbmp_sf" a terminal window appear and now u will be cable to connect on ur ubisoft account, u have 30 seconds after you connect to choose offline mode or solo mode before the application exit. when u choose solo mode the application will exit and then restart normally and now u can play assassin's creed brotherhood.

But how can I get to multiplayer
