I've been having an ongoing issue where I need to regularly copy 3 External Hard Drives a day. I've tried using Forklift, and Carbon Copy, as well as Apple's built-in Copy using Finder.

My company purchases, in bulk, LACIE Porche Design 2TB usb 3.0 external drives.
I have one MASTER drive plugged in and use the remaining 3 USB ports to plug in 3 blank 2TB drives.

I use Disc Utility to create one partition in FAT32 format (some of our clients use PC so the drives have to be compatible). After wiping the drive I'll use either Forklift, Carbon Copy, or Finder to copy roughly 998GB of data (Music [.mp3, .wav], pictures [.jpg, .png], and .xml files.

The problem I have is that when the copy is complete there is never any error messages with either program I use but when I click "Get Info" on the completed drives, they all are a different size (usually smaller but sometimes larger than the MASTER). The amount of missing data varies and is never the exact same.

However, when I go into each subfolder and click "Get Info" they all match byte for byte. It's just when I examine the drive itself (clicking on the desktop icon) that the sizes differ.

I wouldn't be too concerned if it was so much data missing... 8-10GB of missing data is quite a bit. I've tried this on my iMac late 2013 and my Mac Mini early 2015.

Thank you very much for any help that can be offered! I greatly appreciate it!
