I've noticed some discrepancies between what's been said on the keynote and what's in the specifications on the apple website.

  • At the keynote, they said, they quadrupled the pixels of the MacBook Air. However, the previous 13" MacBook Air had a resolution of 1440x900, which means the resolution of the new one would have to be 2880*1800. According to the spec page, however, it's only 2560x1600.
  • In the Keynote, they said, the new iPad Pro (3rd generation) could connect to a display up to 5k (which is beyond USB spec and would require thunderbolt). According to the spec page, however, it maxes out at 4k.

Are there more discrepancies?

And for the above, which one is correct? The announcement in the keynote or the spec page?
