This may just be a me problem, but I've noticed sine Tahoe that I'm having to manually select audio devices all the time now. Whether for Zoom meetings or just playing Youtube videos... Sometimes I'll put my airpods in, and then notice that my Zoom/WebEx/Teams audio has defaulted to my webcam mic. Or I'll connect to TB dock that has audio, but the mac stays on the built-in speakers. Or, most annoyingly, sometimes iPhone Continuity Camera, which I set up when it came out, but NEVER use.

Obviously not a huge deal or anything, but prior to the 26 update I almost never had to mess with audio devices at all. When docked it would almost always default to thunderbolt audio... when airpods are detected, it would switch to them for both speakers and microphone... all more or less intelligently. I'm not aware of any settings that govern this behavior, so either Tahoe broke it or I'm just having a moment.

Yep. My MBP randomly (but usually overnight) changes my audio out from speakers to headphones, even though I've never inserted a headphone jack ever.

Never happened before Tahoe, been happening daily since then.

Well, thanks. At least I can carry on believing that it's not just me.
