I am new to Macs and Aperture. I am trying to setup all my photos in Aperture and add the IPTC data, but I am noticing that the IPTC data for the date taken are incorrect in all my photos. However, if I look at the photos in Windows, Windows Explorer displays the date taken correctly. If I look at the file in Adobe Bridge, the meta data for File Properties has it correct.

It seems like what it is does is looking at the data that the files were added to the drive, not when when the photo was taken. Even if I look at the Get Info in Finder it shows the date I added the files to the drive, whereas I can boot to Windows and it will show it correctly. Any ideas on how to correct this?
