Incorrectly disconnected hard drive, how to reach?

Hi Guys, really need some help, am just a poor stupid user of MacBook and external hard drive. Did not disconnect correctly hard drive and cannot get any connection to it anymore. Macbook just does not recognize it.
What do do??

Does it show up in Disk Utility? If so, repair the disk with that

Yes the hard drive was visible in disk utility and I did verify and tried to repair it, but it says:
Incorrect block count for file Latest
(It should be 1 instead of 0)
Invalid sibling link
Volume check failed.

Error: Filesystem verify or repair failed.

It also says in the description of the drive that the S.M.A.R.T. status is not supported.

What else could I do to reach the content again?
