Increase Hard Drive Space

I get error msg "Hard Drive space Low" when I am using Windows 7 applications with Parallels VM.
How can I increase this space allocated to the VM?
It was not installed using Boot Camp and has been running beautifully .

If you initially set up the virtual disk as "expanding" you are all set to enlarge it. Go the the configuration window for the VM, select "Harware" and then "Hard Disk 1" There will be an "Edit" button which will allow you to change the size of the drive.
