I just got my 5s in the mail today and since activating it an hour and a half ago I have gotten two spam calls. I can't remember the last time I got any on my old 4s. Anyone else experiencing this?

Coincidence. I can't see any way that there would be any coorelation between getting a new phone and spam calls. Go on your carriers website and block the numbers. That's what I usually do.

If they continue bothering you, add them to the block list. It works wonders.
1. Click the "i" button next to the number in the Recent call log
2. Scroll to the bottom and select "Block this Caller"
3. Laugh and enjoy the silence

It seems like a pretty big coincidence. I had previously registered my number with the do not call list but I redid that and reported the numbers that called me.
And thanks but I do know how to block numbers. It was a different number each time however so blocking the first one would not have stopped the second.
