I have a 2.2 C2D MBP with 2 gb of RAM. I'm considering upping it to 4 gb so that i can run parallels (vista business vm) and adobe cs3 at the same time without the computer slowing down to a crawl.

how much impact would adding more ram have on my battery life?

Negligible, although actually its possible it may increase your battery life because your hard drive will be used less for virtual ram swapping.

Less hard drive accessing, more battery life. :)

edit:
LoL what heatmiser said. Posted a moment later.

ok, that's good to know. i was afraid i'd lose battery life.

i just ordered 4 gb from kingston for $99.

that's crazy, cause a year ago i spent like $125 on 1 gb
