I have the last version of the 15" powerbook G4 1.67Ghz with 1.5gig ram running Tiger 10.4.10
If I put Leopard on it should I bump the ram to 2gig?
Will I really see any improvement to justify the extra $30 for stick of 1gig ram?

I had thought about replacing it with a current rev Macbook or Macbook Pro to get more horsepower when encoding and ripping dvd's.
But I just ordered a new alum iMac 20" 2.4 Ghz to replace an aging XP box. I'll now have a totally Apple household. I don't have need to replace the PB now and want to keep using it.
