So, from what I have read, Apple has split Safari into two separate processes, which are "Safari" and "WebProcess", and I also think that the "Plugin Process" is involved due to flash. For some reason Safari is taking up a lot of CPU speed, and about a GB of memory. Has anybody heard anything about a solution to the excessive cpu speed hogging of safari in a future update? Do you think because of Apple's hardware upgrades that they will expand their power with their apps and leave us C2D users in the dust?
Thanks,
Austin
BTW: I am using an iMac 2ghz C2D 2.5GB Ram (Which runs Lion flawlessly :D)

Safari does use a lot of ram depending on your system, clean installs are more stable and have less issues. I would add more ram. You are not alone here. For flash I would use Google Chrome.
