Pretty simple - the 45” screen looks noticeably bigger on the wrist, and pictures, text, alerts, watch faces just look better. I am really impressed with my Series 7 Aluminum Green.

My debate now is

1) Will this design stick around for a few more years? I’m frankly not excited about a flat edge design, so I may want to buy ahead of it

2) What rumors are there for Series 8? All I’ve seen is temperature measurement - if that is the case, Series 7 may be the biggest upgrade in a few years

3) I have two Apple Watches - it may make sense to trade in my Series 6 SS Gold for a Series 7 SS Silver or Titanium (I don’t think I need the Gold anymore as I have a mechanical gold watch for those outfits)

I agree with what you said about the screen size. I think it is noticeable as well I think one problem with buying ahead is that you end with outdated tech before you even start using it.

I have a feeling they'll change the design next year, but I'm not too excited about the flat design either, so I bought a Ti series 7 for the first time (after six years of SS) with the intention of holding on to it for at least 2-3 years. In the end, as long as they don't change the band connection, I'll be happy. As soon as that happens, I'll buy whatever the last watch compatible with my bands is, and keep it for quite a while.
