Got a MacPro (2012) with 4 x 2Tbyte disks. These are configured as 1 stand-alone and 3 in a RAID 0 array (striped). The disks are close to full.

I want to increase the storage to 2 + 3 x 4Tbyte, Ie: replace 3 of the disks.

Is this feasible? I assume I have to find 6 Tbyte temporary storage, copy the files over, install the new drives, configure them in Diskutil, and then copy the files back.

Am I missing something here? Any tips? Can the disks be of different sizes?

Thanks for your help,

Olly
