Is there a way to increase overall font size of webpages without using the pinch to zoom function? For example, on my bookmark toolbar in chrome, the font is rather small, and I would like to increase that, but using pinch to zoom doesn't have an effect on that.

Also, when I'm using adium, I am able to increase the font of the individual chat windows, but how can I increase the font size of my contact list?

Command-+ will enlarge the font in every browser I've tried. Command - does the opposite.

Yes, that does increase the font, but it's the same as pinch to zoom. It increases the font of the browser text, but not the bookmark bar or tab texts.
