Hi folks,

I realise we can only increase our iCloud users by 5 family members (plus myself, but has anyone found a way to add more?

What does everyone do when you have one more adults and for example 6 kids?

Example: 2 x parents, 2 x Gran Grandad, and 3 kids?

Has anyone got a work around, as we would like to add a 6 member but don’t have any slots left :(

I think anyone paying the higher tier cost, should have an added bonus of one extra slot with the more you pay..

There’s a limit to prevent someone from adding all their friends as “family”. Like how people share their Netflix password.

One could argue that it should be higher than 5 because some people have more than 5 in their immediate family. I’m sure Apple wouldn’t be against offering a higher tier if it was profitable.

I don’t think there’s a workaround or hack because this is something on Apple’s server side. They would have to allow it.

It’s possible with smaller kids you could use the same Apple ID with several devices. Like if you have three iPads for three children. This would only count as one family member. Of course this is not something that would work with adult friends or family.

I would certainly pay more if I was able to add more family members.
I think there’s a way to make suggestions to Apple, but I’m not even sure if they read them.

Honestly though there was a trick you could do… hmm
Maybe someone here knows away, but I can’t think of a way.

You could create a second Apple ID and then add five more people, but that seems like it would be confusing
